Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Carte. By using the app or this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Carte.
Using Carte
- You must be at least 13 to use Carte, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- Keep your login secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- Give accurate info and only connect accounts, like Beli, that are yours.
Be decent
Don’t use Carte to harass people, post illegal or hateful content, spam, impersonate anyone, or try to break, scrape, or overload the service. We can remove content or suspend accounts that do.
Your content
You own what you post: messages, photos, group names. You give us permission to store and show it to the people you share it with so the app can work. You’re responsible for having the right to post it.
Restaurants and reservations
Carte suggests places and shows availability from third parties such as Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Google, and Beli. That info can be wrong or change quickly. A table shown in Carte isn’t a reservation until you book it with the restaurant or booking service, under their terms. We aren’t responsible for restaurants, bookings, cancellation fees, or your meal. Carte isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by those companies unless we say so.
The service
We’re always improving Carte, so features may change or go away. The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Carte won’t be liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or $50.
Ending things
You can stop using Carte and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
Apple
If you got Carte from the App Store, these terms are between you and Carte, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and isn’t responsible for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we’ll let you know in the app. Keep using Carte, and you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions: hello@usecarte.app.
