How does Carte decide?
Whoever starts the night picks a time and party size. Carte deals everyone the same deck of places that have a table then. Everyone swipes, and Carte picks the place you all like most. A super like counts double, and a veto takes a place off the table.
What are vetoes and super likes?
You get a few each night. A veto means “absolutely not” and removes the place for everyone. A super like means “I really want this” and counts double. If the night starts over, you get them back.
Does Carte book the table for me?
Not yet. Carte finds a time that’s open and sends you straight to Resy, OpenTable, or SevenRooms to confirm it in a tap.
Why does a place say “walk in or call”?
That restaurant doesn’t take online reservations, or we couldn’t check its availability. It still matches your taste, so it’s worth a call.
How do I connect Beli?
In the app, go to Profile, then Beli. Carte imports your saved and ranked places so the deck leans toward what you love. You can disconnect anytime.
How do I invite someone?
Open a group and tap Invite. Send the link or share your friend code from your Profile.
Only one person can start over?
Yes. The person who started the night picked the time, so they’re the one who can restart it. Everyone gets their vetoes and super likes back.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile, then Delete account. Or email hello@usecarte.app from the email on your account, and we’ll take care of it.
